This series of work is produced by a Toronto-based documentary photographer whose work focuses on gender, identity, and community within the cities queer landscape. Known for her intimate portraits and storytelling, she captures the beauty and diversity of queer life, amplifying underrepresented voices through her lens.

 

Born and raised in Toronto, her passion for photography grew from the Toronto's multiculturalism and vibrant identities. Her acclaimed project, Divine Photo Project, showcases the triumphs and struggles of queer individuals, fostering solidarity and deeper understanding.

 

Her work, which has been featured internationally, combines artistry with activism, challenging societal norms and encouraging dialogue around acceptance and visibility.

 

A key aspect of her approach is creating safe, collaborative spaces. She builds trust through open conversations with her subjects, inviting their input to ensure authentic and empowering images. Often photographing in dynamic settings that reflect her subjects identities, she captures unfiltered moments that resonate deeply.

 

Beyond her photography, she works to uplift and support LGBTQ+ artists, fostering spaces for creative expression and storytelling. Her work documents the evolving queer experience in Toronto, celebrating diversity and resilience while promoting visibility and representation.
